How easy is it to get around Phitsanulok?

Phitsanulok is a very easy city to get around. Public transportation is readily available, and there are also many taxis that can help you get where you need to go. Additionally, the roads in Phitsanulok are well-maintained and easy to navigate as well. All in all, it’s an extremely convenient city to get around in. Whether you are looking to navigate through the city’s streets, or want to travel outside of it, Phitsanulok offers a convenient and affordable transportation system that is easy for anyone to use!

If you need to travel farther afield from Phitsanulok, there are plenty of options for you to choose from. For example, the city is very conveniently located close to the airport in Lomsak, so if you need to travel there then that can be a great option for you. You could also take a train from Phitsanulok if you want to go somewhere farther away – trains are one of the most affordable and efficient ways to travel in Thailand, so it is a great choice if you’re on a budget.

Of course, if you need to get around locally then there are plenty of options for that as well! The famous Tuk-tuks can be found all over the city, and they make for an excellent way to get to and from your destination. Or you could choose to rent a bike and spend some time exploring the city on two wheels! No matter what kind of trip or holiday you are looking for, there is something for everyone in Phitsanulok.

Where to stay in Phitsanulok?

I really enjoyed my stay in Phitsanulok and would highly recommend the Rachawadee Residence. It’s a lovely, quiet place with good service and a beautiful pool! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and I was very happy there. Plus, it is also conveniently located close to the Old City and the main shopping area, so you can easily get anywhere in Phitsanulok.

If you prefer to be right in the Old City, then I would recommend staying at Phitsanulok Heritage Guesthouse. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there’s a nice pool and the staff is very friendly! It’s not a super luxurious place, but it is such great value for money that I don’t think you will find a better deal in Phitsanulok.

Whats Eating and drinking in Phitsanulok?

There are lots of great places to eat and drink in Phitsanulok. For a hearty breakfast or lunch, I would recommend visiting the Old City Food Street, located right in the center of the historic city. The food here is delicious, with lots of tasty local dishes available at affordable prices.

If you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon out, head to the Heritage Guesthouse and enjoy a refreshing drink by the pool. This is a great place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing and shopping in Phitsanulok.

For dinner, check out one of the many delicious restaurants along Jitti Road or on Pahonyothin Road. Whether you’re in the mood for Thai or Western food, you’ll find plenty of great options to choose from in Phitsanulok.

There are also some really cool bars and clubs to hang out at after dark. If you’re looking for a fun night out on the town, head to the Living Room or Music Station for a night of dancing and fun.

What is there to do in Phitsanulok?

Start your visit with the Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, also known as the Phra Buddha Chinnarat Temple. This beautiful Buddhist temple was built in 1357 and is home to one of Thailand’s most revered Buddha statues. It’s an absolute must-see attraction in the city and is one of Thailand’s most beautiful temples.

After touring the temple, you can explore a number of other incredible attractions in Phitsanulok. Visit Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat to see some impressive Buddhist art or go for a stroll around the city’s historic districts. There are also a few awesome museums in the city, including the Phitsanulok Museum and the Ban Zaan Folk Museum.

If you enjoy outdoor activities, you’ll be pleased to know that there are plenty of parks and gardens near Phitsanulok. Visit Suphan Nong Park to enjoy a picnic in the shade of some beautiful old trees or head to Wat Pho Chai for a stroll around its well-maintained grounds.

How to get to Phitsanulok?

Phitsanulok is easily accessible by road or rail and can be reached from Bangkok in about five hours on a train. If you’re traveling by bus, expect to pay somewhere around 220 Baht for the journey.  Once you arrive, you can catch a local bus or taxi to get around the city.
